Job Description

We are seeking a Fiber Quality Lab Technician to be located at West Point, VA. The FQLT will work in the fiber quality lab and wood yard and perform the following tasks: Collect and test wood chip samples for thickness, length, bark content, and moisture content Perform routine cleaning and calibration of chip classifier Assist the technical and forestry departments as needed May be required to travel offsite to assist in sample collection This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week across five days, with flexibility to work additional overtime hours as business needs require.
