293397026 Job Description Responsible for establishing line and grade from known points established by others. Position requires ability to read construction drawings, determine layout requirements, perform field layout and assist in resolving technical issues regarding the physical location of site improvements. Requires a working knowledge of trigonometry; proficiency in the use of levels, transits, electronic measuring devices, lasers both pipe and plane; and an understanding of general construction procedures, techniques, and equipment. Work requires the individual to be able to stand or walk all day, sometimes on uneven or vegetated ground, and carry up to 30 pounds depending on the type of equipment employed and the assigned position on the crew.
