Qualifications Research Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze information to support the definition of requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in manufacturing and engineering design Incorporate changes to specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts, and processes Perform tests to qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes to ensure they meet established requirements Assist with activities to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements Conduct basic analysis to determine performance or identify reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts, or processes Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions Develop basic computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements Use project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements Incorporate environmental health and safety, LEAN, and quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures, and labs and office areas Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering design principles Familiarity with qualification processes for tools, equipment, materials, and suppliers Understanding of corrective and preventive action methodologies Ability to apply LEAN principles and quality management practices Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards Proficiency in project management tools and techniques Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop and improve computer and production systems Qualifications:
