We are working with a prominent aerospace manufacturing client who is seeking a aerospace Quality Inspector III. You will independently perform advanced in-process and final inspections to ensure product conformance to aerospace drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. This role requires expert-level blueprint reading, advanced GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5, strong inspection-related math skills, and the ability to interpret inspection results with minimal supervision Roles & Responsibilities Perform in-process, final, visual, and dimensional inspections to verify conformance to aerospace drawings, purchase orders, specifications, and customer requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, customer sketches, technique cards, and process specifications to confirm dimensional tolerances, finishes, and masking requirements. Utilize advanced inspection tools and measurement equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gages, glossometers, coating thickness gages, and Go/No-Go gages to verify dimensional compliance. Perform pre

• and post-dimensional inspections, proof inspections, part mark setup and inspection, and verification of controlled processes.

Monitor and document controlled processing bakes and cures, conduct oven probe checks, and confirm equipment compliance. Review and approve Certificates of Conformance (CoC), process certifications, outside test reports, and AS9102 reports. Assist with non-conforming material evaluations, rework dispositioning, root cause problem solving, and continuous quality improvements. Mentor and train lower-level inspectors on inspection techniques, calibration procedures, and quality standards. Qualifications 3-6+ years of quality inspection experience, preferrably within aerospace or a regulated manufacturing company. Expert-level blueprint reading and interpretation skills with advanced GD&T knowledge per

ASME Y14.5.

Experience with mechanical, assembly, and/or CMM inspection processes and AS9102 reporting. Proficiency using precision measurement and inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, coating thickness gages, and glossometers. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to independently troubleshoot issues, interpret data, define problems, and make informed quality decisions in a fast-paced environment.
