Job Description

Summary The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in assembling, calibrating, testing, and evaluating Radiant products while also supporting Quality Assurance functions such as RMA oversight, diagnostics, and process improvement. This role combines hands-on product work with analytical QA responsibilities, providing a unique opportunity to contribute across the full product lifecycle. Success in this position requires strong technical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is 100% on site and requires daily presence at WHQ to support production, diagnostics, and lab-based activities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inspect returned units, diagnose issues, and prepare instructions for repair, maintenance, or recalibration. Perform repairs, maintenance, and calibration of returned products. Operate and maintain lab equipment, instruments, and cleanroom workspaces per established procedures. Maintain accurate production records, workflow documentation, and quality logs. Follow all safety, quality, ESD control, and cleanroom gowning/material handling protocols. Participate in or lead team meetings to provide updates and close action items. Support field action documentation and cross-functional coordination as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Technical Support, Production, and Purchasing. Recommend and implement enhancements to production, diagnostic, and QA processes. Contribute to cross-functional training, workflow improvements, and system implementations. Requirements Desired Skills & Experience High school diploma or GED required; A.S. in Electronics or technical certification preferred. 1-3+ years of experience in manufacturing, cleanroom assembly, electromechanical systems, or QA diagnostics. Basic understanding of electronics, schematics, and diagnostic troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to break down complex issues into actionable pieces. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access). Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Familiarity with ISO requirements, CRM systems, and internal test software preferred. This job description shows the general scope of responsibilities for the position.
