Renton, WA Job Description Our client is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries. The Quality Inspector will visually and functionally inspect aircraft parts during all phases of processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes. Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool designs, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to create clear, complete, and precise records of inspections. Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use. Interface with personnel from various departments regarding quality-related issues. Provide assistance to operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures. Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports to be provided to quality assurance administrators. Conduct internal audits as required. Suggest new and improved methods for the continuous improvement of the quality management system.
Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in inspection. Familiarity with precision tools. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Experience in production or manufacturing is preferred.
