Seattle Position Summary The Quality Administrator supports the Quality Management System (QMS) by maintaining quality records, coordinating documentation activities, assisting with audits, tracking corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace industry requirements. This position plays a key role in supporting AS9100, NADCAP, customer specifications, and internal quality processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and control quality management system documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of AS9100 and customer-specific quality requirements. Coordinate document revisions and distribution to ensure current revisions are available at points of use. Track and maintain corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement activities. Support internal, customer, registrar, and regulatory audits by preparing records and audit evidence. Maintain training records and quality-related employee qualification records. Monitor and track quality objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and quality metrics. Compile management review data and assist in preparing management review meeting materials. Maintain approved supplier quality records and performance data. Process and maintain nonconformance reports (NCRs), customer complaints, and corrective action records. Assist with calibration, inspection, and certification record management. Ensure quality records are retained and archived according to company and customer requirements. Support contract review activities by verifying quality requirements and documentation. Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding quality documentation and records as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality system enhancements. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Minimum 2 years of quality administration, quality assurance, document control, or aerospace manufacturing experience preferred. Experience working within an AS9100-certified environment preferred. Experience with aerospace special processes, NADCAP requirements, or customer specifications is beneficial. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of AS9100 quality management system requirements. Understanding of document control and records management processes. Familiarity with corrective action systems and root cause analysis methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday. Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment. Quality Responsibilities Comply with all company quality policies, procedures, and customer requirements. Support the effectiveness and continual improvement of the Quality Management System. Promote compliance with AS9100, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Identify and communicate quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
