Job Description Upholds and maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results and reworking parts to meet NPI quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities Approves incoming materials by confirming Engineering specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating findings to Quality Control Manager and relevant departments. Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests. Collaborates with Assembly and production departments on part quality concerns, best practices, and continuous improvement measures to meet NPI quality standards. Assists with any required documentation and communication to business stakeholders relating to quality issues and dimensions. Performs part audits and sorts of suspect materials, and collaborates with Quality Control Manager on part dispositions (use, rework, or scrap). Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, including NCRs and CAR investigations. Working to calibrate tools and gauges to comply with
ISO 9001
2015 certification. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. Computing

Education High School diploma required; college or trade school degree preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training.
Hourly Range:
$24.00
