We are in search of a temporary Quality Assurance Specialist to come and work at a manufacturing company in Spokane Valley WA! The QA Specialist assists in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System. This is a great opportunity for someone who has an understanding of quality management, manufacturing processes and problem-solving techniques. • $21 Per Hour
• Schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm

• Assist with problem solving, countermeasure development, and continuous improvement. Identify root cause, determine corrective actions and prepare reports for both internal and external customers.
• Ensure company quality management system conforms to requirements, manage internal and external auditing, implement corrective actions to address nonconformances as well as opportunities for improvement.
• Support company network of outside offices as the primary contact for quality related issues; communicating concerns to relevant parties and facilitating a resolution that meets the needs of all stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams in Risk Assessment and Risk Management activities.
• Create and maintain quality documentation such as records, logs, manuals, procedures and work instructions.
• Prepare reports and presentation material for monthly interdepartmental quality meetings and quarterly management review. Requirements for the QA Specialist
• High school diploma, a two-year college or technical degree preferred.
• Three years' experience in a quality or manufacturing environment. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Close attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to lead and participate in diverse groups.
• Computer skills are required, with proficiency in all MS Office applications. The ability to analyze data in Excel is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, with a working knowledge of measurement tools, such as: calipers, micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators.
• Mechanical aptitude and the desire to understand how products and processes function.
