Quality Technician 3rd shift
Location:
Pratt (Beloit Corrugating), LLC - 1405
Gateway Blvd, Beloit, WIStarting Pay:

Our Quality Technicians compile data and produce reports for customers
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESComply with all local, State and Federal safety standardsInteract with internal customersConduct product development testingConduct
ASTM, ISTA
testingComply with all ASTM, ISTA, UN, TAPPI and Pratt Industries proceduresEnsure calibration of all testing equipmentFacilitate repairs of all lab equipmentInterpret impact of testing results on box performanceMonitor lab environmental controlsWork with Quality Manager and staff members to plan projectsManage and complete projects as assigned by Quality managerAssist Quality staff with projects assigned to themObserve equipment conditions and report potential problems to Quality ManagerComplete other tasks as assignedEDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCEPreferred:
Minimum 2+ years of Quality Auditor or Quality Technician experienceExceptional MS Access and Excel skillsExcellent communication skills, written and verbal
REASONING
ABILITY- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL
DEMANDS-Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.

Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlThe employee is occasionally required to sit.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the assistance of another worker.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
-Frequently exposed to wet, hot, and/or humid conditions.

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
