Quality Technician•
Plastic Extrusion Location:
Delavan Shift:
2nd Shift | Monday•Thursday | 3:00 PM•1:30
AM Pay:
Based on experience Co-Staff is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Technician for a growing plastic extrusion manufacturer in Delavan, WI. This position plays a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have prior quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within plastic extrusion, plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or related industries . Experience using precision measuring equipment and interpreting technical drawings is highly preferred. Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections on plastic extrusion products Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company standards Identify, document, and contain non-conforming materials and products Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools Assist with investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues Complete quality documentation, inspection reports, and production records accurately Communicate quality concerns effectively with operators, leads, supervisors, and management Support production teams with quality checks and process verification Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures Qualifications Previous quality inspection or quality technician experience in manufacturing required Experience in plastic extrusion, plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or related industries preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Knowledge of quality control standards, inspection procedures, and testing methods Experience using measuring equipment such as: Calipers Micrometers Bore gauges Indicator gauges Optical comparators Go/No-Go gauges Basic math and measurement skills required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and in a team environment Good communication and documentation skills Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
