About Us We are a growing metal manufacturing company with dedicated Fabrication and Machining divisions serving a diverse customer base across multiple industries. As we continue to expand, we are investing in our people, processes, and quality systems to support sustainable growth and exceptional customer service. The Quality Lead plays a critical role in that growth by helping strengthen our quality processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure we consistently deliver products that meet customer expectations. Position Summary The Quality Lead is responsible for supporting quality performance within the Fabrication Division through inspection, auditing, corrective actions, quality system maintenance, and KPI reporting. This is a hands-on role that combines inspection responsibilities with leadership of quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections. Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Coordinate corrective actions and assist with root cause investigations. Conduct internal audits and support customer or certification audits. Maintain quality procedures, records, and calibration systems. Track and report quality KPIs, including scrap, rework, customer complaints, and corrective actions. Support production teams in resolving quality issues and improving processes. Assist with customer quality communications and documentation requests. Promote continuous improvement throughout fabrication operations. Qualifications 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience, preferably in fabrication or metal manufacturing. Ability to read engineering drawings and use inspection equipment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ISO 9001 and/or internal auditing preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and quality documentation. Pay:
$28.00 - $38.00 per hour
