No two jobs are the same, and we take pride in delivering high-quality, precision work to our customers. Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to support inspection and quality processes on the shop floor. This role involves working directly with fabricated and machined parts to ensure they meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. What You'll Do Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on fabricated and machined parts Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to verify part dimensions and requirements Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges Inspect weldments and fabricated assemblies for quality and workmanship (visual) Complete and maintain inspection reports and job documentation Verify material certifications and traceability for incoming materials Identify and segregate nonconforming parts/materials Work directly with welders, machinists, and shop leads to resolve quality issues Assist with first article inspections (FAI) and job setup verification What We're Looking For Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machining environment Ability to read and understand blueprints Hands-on experience using basic measuring tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-mix job shop environment Preferred (but not required) Experience in metal fabrication or welding environments Knowledge of GD&T or advanced inspection techniques Familiarity with steel, aluminum, and fabricated parts Previous quality inspection experience What We Offer Competitive pay: $20-$28/hour (based on experience) Variety of work - no repetitive production lines Opportunity to grow into advanced quality or leadership roles Stable, team-oriented shop environment Overtime opportunities available Why Join Us?
