In this energetic role, you will champion quality assurance processes, utilize advanced measurement tools, and uphold compliance with
ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and other quality systems. Your proactive approach will help drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to delivering safe, reliable products to our customers. Duties Perform detailed quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product dimensions and specifications. Conduct comprehensive quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and FDA regulations to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes. Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, defect rates, and process deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Support manufacturing teams by monitoring adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards for food and pharmaceutical products. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and quality records in line with QA/QC protocols. Assist in calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment to ensure ongoing precision and reliability. Participate in quality management reviews and contribute insights for continuous process improvements. Experience Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality control or quality assurance roles. Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of industry standards including
ISO 13485
(medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP practices. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data trends and generate actionable insights. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective/preventive actions within a regulated environment. Technical proficiency with Calypso or similar quality management software is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate across teams.
