Quality Technician
- Early Shift
- 3-Day Weekends (4x12 Schedule) Fortress Nutrition, LLC $24.00
- $26.00
- High earning potential built into this role. Work 40+ hours and you'll unlock regular overtime-then at 50+ hours, your pay jumps to
DOUBLE TIME
Schedule:
Early Shift (4x12s) MondayThursday:
2:00 AM- 12:30 PM 3-day weekends (Friday-Sunday)
- Overtime may be required on Fridays or weekends (up to max 8-hour shifts) based on production or sanitation needs
- voluntary basis first!
Training Period:
Hands-on training to ensure confidence with systems, processes, and quality standards before transitioning to nights. 2-4 weeks on 1stShift:
Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM
- 2:30 PM / 7:00 AM
- 3:30 PM What You'll Do Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods Collect and prepare samples for third-party laboratory testing Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (pH meters, titrators, Brix/density tools, etc.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of Quality Control experience 2+ years of laboratory experience with instrumentation (pH meters, titrators, Brix/density, etc.) Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook/Office Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Must operate with a high sense of urgency and accuracy. This role requires real-time testing, documentation, and immediate response to quality deviations. Delays, missed details, or incomplete documentation can impact product quality and compliance. Individuals who are not detail-oriented, proactive, and highly accountable will not be successful in this role.Preferred:
Experience in food, beverage, bottling, canning, or other regulated/controlled working environments Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality standardsPhysical Requirements:
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift) Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50lbs Bending, kneeling, climbing (stairs/platforms), and operating equipment Talking, hearing; reaching above shoulders; using hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipmentPay & Benefits Starting Pay:
