Job Title:
Quality Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our dynamic team. This role operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7 am to 7 pm, following a 2,2,3 pattern. The position involves both laboratory and production floor activities, requiring a balance of technical skills and hands-on involvement. Responsibilities Conduct tests for ozone, chlorine, pH, and turbidity. Collect and transport various samples to the laboratory for analysis. Perform plating for microbial counts and coliform testing. Conduct packaging testing, including fill weight and strength assessments. Participate in CIP cleanings and apply chemical knowledge. Supervise and inspect all vision check systems to ensure quality control. Work collaboratively with the quality team and management. Assist with production floor activities and support the team in maintaining safe, quality bottles. Essential Skills Quality assurance and control expertise. Biology or chemistry. Experience in laboratory testing and inspection procedures. Ability to handle a tedious and detailed testing process. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field is preferred. Experience in the food or beverage industry, particularly with SQF standards. Computer proficiency is advantageous. Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks and get involved in floor operations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
