Skill Set:
Experience in quality inspection, quality technician, or manufacturing testing environment Hands-on experience with dimensional measurement and inspection of manufactured parts Experience using metrology/testing equipment (MicroVue, Benchmic, tensile tester, force gauge, calipers, micrometers, etc.) Good Documentation Practices (GDP) experience Experience working with ERP systems for lot tracking, inventory, or production records Ability to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation
Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support product inspection and testing activities for a medical device manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on contract opportunity supporting an active production project, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have experience performing dimensional inspections, product testing, and documentation in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with metrology equipment, and the ability to work effectively within a cleanroom setting while collaborating with quality, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.
Job Duties:
Perform product testing including tensile, dimensional, compression, and functional device testing Utilize metrology and inspection equipment including MicroVue, Benchmic, tensile testers, force gauges, and similar measurement tools Accurately document inspection and test results using internal quality forms and documentation systems Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and maintain accurate quality records Use ERP systems to locate lot numbers, inventory records, and production information Follow established quality system procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and forms Communicate daily testing progress, status updates, and results with quality and cross-functional teams Support in-process testing and inspection activities during active production Maintain compliance with cleanroom gowning and contamination control requirements (including restrictions on makeup, jewelry, exposed skin, etc.) Safely lift materials or product up to 40 lbs as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, Manufacturing Technician, or similar role Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred Hands-on experience measuring parts and performing dimensional inspection Familiarity with product testing methods and quality documentation requirements Experience working in cleanroom environments preferred ERP/MRP system experience preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing and quality teams Immediate availability preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity,
