Industrial Sewing Machine Operator 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Ontario, CA 91764 $22 an hour - Full-time iStaffing inc 3 reviews $22 an hour - Full-time Summary / Objective The Quilting Operator is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to join and reinforce materials in a manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up, adjusting, and monitoring machines to ensure accurate stitching and consistent production quality. Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to perform moderate physical work are required. Please note, this position is in Rancho Cucamonga. Responsibilities Essential Functions Review work orders and select appropriate materials Ensure all materials and supplies are available before starting work Start, test, and verify sewing machine functionality at the beginning of each shift Identify and resolve machine or process issues during testing Thread needles and adjust machine settings based on project requirements Position materials under needles for sewing or pattern creation Replace or rethread needles as needed for production continuity Repair missing stitches or replace parts according to instructions Monitor sewing operations to detect defects or stitching issues Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role Proficiency in English Bilingual ability preferred but not required Customer-oriented and calm demeanor Prior industry experience a plus Strong attention to detail
