Job Description

Sewing Machine Operator & Repair Specialist Westminster, CA $21.00-$23.00 an hour Full-time 7am-3:30pm Job Overview Join our team as a Sewing Machine Operator & Repair Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality garments and ensuring the optimal functioning of sewing equipment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with sewing machines, contribute to garment construction, and perform essential repairs to keep production running smoothly. Job Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing machines, including single, double, or multi-needle sergers Perform repairs on firefighter gear according to company standards Change needles, thread, bobbins, and machine attachments as needed Adjust machine settings and guides based on repair requirements Work with the team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work Keep sewing area clean, organized, and safe Follow company procedures, safety rules, and instructions Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience using industrial sewing equipment Basic knowledge of sewing principles and garment construction Able to follow instructions with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and quality Good attendance and reliability Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team Strong problem-solving skills Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
Standing, sitting, walking, and bending throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
