Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Leather Craftsman to join our creative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality leather goods through precise hand and machine techniques. Your expertise will help bring unique, durable, and beautifully finished leather products to life, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of craftsmanship and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials, contributing to the creation of premium leather accessories and items.

Responsibilities Cut, sew, assemble, and finish leather components using a variety of hand tools, sewing machines, and power tools Operate woodworking equipment such as CNC machines, mills, and calipers for precise fabrication and detailing Utilize heavy lifting techniques to handle large or bulky leather pieces safely within the workspace or warehouse environment Measure materials accurately with calipers and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and finish Fabricate custom parts by machining, woodworking, or constructing components that meet design specifications Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area, ensuring all tools and machinery are properly cared for and calibrated Collaborate with design teams to interpret patterns and prototypes into finished products with attention to detail in garment construction and assembly Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Experience operating forklift equipment within a warehouse or manufacturing setting Proficiency in woodworking techniques including CNC machining, millwork, and fabrication processes Skilled in sewing using industrial sewing machines as well as hand sewing techniques for detailed craftsmanship Familiarity with power tools such as drills, sanders, grinders, and other construction equipment Knowledge of garment construction principles applied to leather products for durable assembly Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality standards Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments with a strong emphasis on safety protocols Join us as a Leather Craftsman if you're eager to combine your technical skills with your passion for craftsmanship.
