Job Description

Overview Join my small business and help me craft ponchos and hoodie. You will be responsible for working sewing machines, sergers, and other industrial textile machines, and pinning fabric. You will be working with me as I teach you my specific designs, and repeatable patterns. I sell many units of the same designs so there will be focused work on mastering a few particular garments. Responsibilities Operate various machines (Juki sewing machine, Brother serger) with precision to assemble garments according to specifications and quality standards Follow detailed sewing instructions and work from production schedules to meet deadlines Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all garments meet quality requirements Maintain and troubleshoot sewing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety Collaborate with team members to streamline manufacturing processes and improve workflow efficiency Keep accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and quality checks Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area at all times Qualifications Proven experience in garment construction or sewing machine operation in a manufacturing, warehouse, or home setting Strong knowledge of sewing techniques and familiarity with different types of sewing machines Ability to interpret technical drawings, patterns, and work instructions clearly Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment most importantly the ability to learn Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement! Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
