In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments and textile products efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, and manufacturing processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment where precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork are highly valued. Duties Operate various types of industrial sewing machines to assemble, repair, and finish textile products according to specifications. Follow detailed work orders and production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks. Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards. Maintain the sewing equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of quality. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area. Document production activities accurately and report any issues or discrepancies promptly. Skills Proven experience in garment construction and sewing machine operation within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with various sewing machines, including industrial models suited for heavy-duty textiles. Strong understanding of sewing techniques, patterns, and quality control procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications clearly. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for material handling and inventory management. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and consistency. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. This position offers a vital role in our manufacturing operations where craftsmanship meets efficiency. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
