Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Job Overview Ponderosa Printing, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team! Our ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines in a fast-paced apparel manufacturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing setting, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Prior experience in garment construction, sewing, or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Pay is based on experience and training. Responsibilities Operate sewing machines to produce high-quality garments according to customer specifications and production schedules Work efficiently within a team environment, Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime Ensure proper setup of machines for each production run, including threading and calibration Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed Qualifications Must be able to work in the United States Previous experience in garment construction, sewing, or manufacturing preferred Proficiency with sewing machines and basic sewing techniques Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory or material handling Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions Prior experience operating manufacturing equipment is advantageous This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills within an apparel manufacturing industry.
