Sewing Machine Operator Knox, IN Sewing Machine Operator 1st shift Do you have proven experience operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced manufacturing or upholstery environment? Job Summary:
The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing upholstery components according to specifications using industrial machines. This role ensures all products meet company quality standards while maintaining efficient production and a clean, organized workspace. Job Duties Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric, leather, or vinyl upholstery components according to specifications. Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and sewing instructions. Inspect materials before and after sewing to ensure quality and accuracy. Perform basic machine maintenance such as threading, needle changes, and tension adjustments. Collaborate with the production team to meet daily manufacturing goals.
Pay:
16.00/hourly
Schedule:
1st shift Monday-Thursday 7:30-3:30 Friday 5:00am-1:30pm Experience or Skill Requirements Proven experience as a sewing machine operator, preferably in furniture or upholstery manufacturing. Familiarity with industrial sewing machines (double needle, walking foot, serger, etc.). Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
