We are seeking motivated, dependable candidates with a high attention to detail, positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with industrial sewing machines is a plus. As a member of the industrial sewing team, you will be expected to operate long arm sewing machine, a short arm sewing machine, a high lead/cylinder machine, and occasionally a serger. The role focuses on accuracy, consistency and quality and as those goals are reached then your speed will come naturally.

Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:

responsible for threading, setting up and maintaining your machine to achieve optimal performance.

Material Assembly:

Joining pre-cut sections, attaching components, and following precise design specifications or templates.

Quality Control:

Inspect completed products for overall consistency and accuracy and any other manufacturing defects that may occur.

Workflow Management:

Expected to work in a timely manner alongside team members on a daily basis to reach weekly quotas.

Required Qualifications & Skills Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

must have general knowledge of basic sewing machines.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in reading templates and following directions. Absolutely must have the ability to read and understand a tape measure.

Physical Strength:

Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move items often weighing over 50 pounds. Common Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.

Industrial sewing:

2 years preferred, will train the right candidate. Proficient with an industrial sewing machine Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds. Reliable transportation is a must.

Job Type:

Full-time Salary:

$18.00 - $28.00 per hour based upon experience. $1,000 signing bonus (incremental)
