We're looking for an experienced Industrial Sewist to join our production floor team at our Corktown facility. Location 1927 Rosa Parks Blvd, Unit 170, Detroit, MI 48216 Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing equipment (single-needle, overlock/serger, coverstitch, and flatlock machines) to construct garments to spec Sew 100% cotton tee shirts, hoodies, and crewnecks at production-line pace and quality standards Follow cut tickets, construction guides, and quality benchmarks for each style and client order Maintain consistent output toward daily/weekly production goals Inspect work for defects and flag quality issues before garments move downstream Keep your workstation and machine in good working order; perform basic machine maintenance Collaborate with the sewing lead and broader production team to meet job deadlines Requirements 1-2+ years of garment production sewing experience required Comfortable operating industrial sewing machines in a high-volume manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable attendance and ability to work full-time hours Compensation & Benefits $15-$25/hour, based on experience Health insurance available for full-time employees
