Duties:

Work from verbal and written instructions and production schedules to complete tasks. Place cut fabric panels in racks for sewing. Sew upholstery panels together, including welt cord application. Create buttons for cushions. Stuff cushion covers with polyester filling by hand or with a stuffing machine. Sew the open ends of cushions after stuffing. May sew decorative stitching through stuffed cushions. Trim excess threads from finished cushions. Operate heat seal machine and cut excess material from slings. Use JDE system to determine next steps (Assembly or Boxing). Track orders using dispatch screen. Assemble tight seats by stapling fill and fabric to seat bases. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of related experience or equivalent training preferred Ability to read basic instructions and match word/number patterns Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistance Must be comfortable standing for long periods and working with hands Why work for Qualified Staffing?
