Job Responsibilities Operate a sewing machine to stitch pillow openings closed after filling Repair minor defects including tears, holes, and open seams Trim loose threads using snips Inspect pillows for quality issues such as dirt, tears, or missing buttons Close zippers and remove zipper handles using pliers when required Maintain company production and quality standards Follow safety procedures, including reporting any broken sewing needle pieces to a supervisor Qualifications Previous sewing machine experience required Ability to pass a sewing test administered by the sewing supervisor Strong attention to detail Ability to meet production goals Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Work Environment Work is performed in the sewing department of a warehouse manufacturing facility . The environment is generally climate controlled with standard lighting and minimal noise .
