In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise fabric samples by sewing and assembling garment components according to design specifications. Your expertise will ensure that sample pieces accurately represent the final product, helping to streamline production processes and enhance quality control. Duties Operate industrial sewing machines efficiently to assemble fabric samples with accuracy and attention to detail Follow detailed pattern instructions and technical specifications to produce high-quality samples Cut fabric pieces precisely using appropriate tools and techniques before sewing Inspect completed samples for consistency, quality, and adherence to design standard Collaborate with design to interpret sample requirements and implement adjustments as needed This a contract position, sewing at home Qualifications Proven experience in garment construction or sewing, with a strong understanding of sewing machine operation Skilled in sewing techniques across various fabrics and garment types Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards within the apparel industry Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, patterns, and specifications accurately Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior experience working with sewing machines in a production or manufacturing environment is highly required Must have experience sewing evening wear , bridal and cocktail dresses.
