Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

The Industrial Sewing Operator at Meyco Products, Inc. is responsible for operating specialized sewing equipment to manufacture high-quality pool covers and event tents. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Summary:

Operate sewing machines and related equipment to sew, assemble, and finish products. Follow patterns, templates, and instructions to complete sewing tasks accurately and efficiently. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sewer or in a similar role. Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines and tools. Strong attention to detail and precision in sewing and assembly tasks. Ability to read and interpret patterns, templates, and sewing instructions. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Basic math skills for measuring and cutting fabrics accurately. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines required Ability to work with heavy-duty materials such as vinyl and fabric Strong attention to detail and quality control High school diploma or equivalent.
