window treatments in the Midwest. Our treatments hang in some of the finest homes in the country. We are currently looking for SKILLED window treatment professionals as well as a production manager to construct draperies, soft window treatments (valances, Roman shades etc) and some bedding/pillows and to ensure all of our high quality levels are being met. Experience is prefered but we will train the right applicant with any previous drapery workroom experience. The ideal candidate would have 5+years workroom experience and a strong desire to pursue excellence. Candidates should be familiar with pattern matching, have basic fabric knowledge and be proficient in reading and writing English. Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure and work in fractions of an inch is essential. Wages depend on experience and ability. We do use industrial machines so any experience on industrial machines would be a plus, but this is NOT a job where someone will be sitting at a machine all day. Most work is done from a standing position (on our highly padded floors) on our production tables. These positions could lead to a managment position if desired.
