  • Full-time SMG is looking for a Steam Boiler Operator Schedule will be reviewed with candidate during interview process.
The responsibilities are the following:
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Steam Boiler Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of industrial steam boilers. In this vital role, you will monitor boiler systems, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to maintain continuous steam production. Your expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R, and industrial maintenance will be essential in supporting our facility's operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic environment while ensuring safety and reliability. Duties Operate and control steam boilers to meet production demands while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards Monitor boiler performance through gauges, control panels, and schematics to ensure optimal functioning Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of boiler systems and associated equipment Maintain detailed logs of boiler operation, maintenance activities, and safety checks for compliance purposes Respond promptly to system alarms or malfunctions by diagnosing issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge Assist with system upgrades or repairs involving hydraulics, HVAC/R components, or other mechanical parts Collaborate with field service teams for complex repairs or installations to minimize downtime Qualifications Proven experience operating industrial boilers with a strong understanding of boiler safety procedures Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and schematics interpretation Prior experience in industrial mechanic work or industrial maintenance roles is highly desirable Knowledge of HVAC systems, field service operations, and general maintenance practices Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently using technical diagrams and schematics Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support staff Relevant certifications related to boiler operation,CT-OE2, HVAC/R, or industrial mechanics are a plus
