Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial boilers and related mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise in hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems will drive the efficiency of our plant operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your industrial mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment, ensuring continuous and reliable energy supply while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor boilers and auxiliary equipment to maintain consistent temperature, pressure, and safety parameters. Conduct routine inspections of boilers, pumps, valves, and related mechanical components to identify potential issues early. Perform preventive maintenance tasks based on schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using detailed schematics and technical knowledge of HVAC/R systems and hydraulics. Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and safety checks for compliance purposes. Assist in the installation, repair, and upgrade of boiler systems and associated mechanical infrastructure. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or boiler operator with a strong understanding of boiler systems. Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, schematics reading, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices including preventive and corrective maintenance. Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
