Job Summary:
We are seeking a safety-focused Oven Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial ovens to ensure products are baked or cured according to quality and production standards. The candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and demonstrates attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor industrial ovens and related equipment. Load and unload products into ovens according to production schedules. Adjust temperature, timing, and airflow settings to meet product specifications. Monitor the baking/cooking process to ensure consistency and quality. Perform routine quality checks (appearance, texture, color, and weight). Accurately record production data, temperatures, and batch information. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major concerns to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of ovens and surrounding work areas. Follow all safety guidelines, GMP, and company procedures. Assist with line changeovers and general production support as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred . 6 months to 2+ years of machine operator or manufacturing experience. Food production or baking experience is a plus . Ability to work in high-temperature environments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with industrial ovens, baking systems, or food processing equipment. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work assigned shifts.
Work Environment:
