Job Description

A well-established manufacturer of industrial heating and energy technology equipment is seeking a Factory Service Technician to join the team. This is an opportunity to work with a global industry leader that invests in the future of energy technology. The Factory Service Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, service, and start-up of industrial burner products across customer sites. Salary +

Type of Position:
Direct Hire Responsibilities:
Install, repair and service our client's products. Maintain daily communication with the Service Coordinator to exchange information and facilitate scheduling. Install burners, if needed, utilizing hand tools and machine tools. Start-up newly installed burners while checking electrical wiring and functionality of safety devices. Maintain burners during service visits. Keep up detailed documentation of service site visits for ease of billing and follow up. Responsible for company tools and measuring equipment as well as items such as a company car, phone and computer.
Requirements:
Formal electronics, instrumentation or engineering education 3+ years of experience working in the burner boiler industry, or working with industrial equipment in an electrical, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting capacity Effective communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team of technicians and non-technical employees Willingness to travel up to one week at a time Burner industry experience Combustion controls experience Superior knowledge of electrical components and function Familiarity with different kinds of electrical wiring diagrams Excellent verbal, technical writing and documentation skills High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic Excellent problem-solving skills Very proficient in the use of computers, email, MS-Office products Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Professional, proactive demeanor Action Oriented; Problem Solving; Organization; Functional/Technical Skills; Priority Setting; Drive for Results Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
