Job Description
Cole Hardwood, Inc. is a hardwood lumber manufacturing facility in Logansport, Indiana seeking a Night Watchman / Boiler Operator. Working hours include third shift and some weekends. Overtime guaranteed. Primary responsibility is keeping our boilers running through the night. Additional duties include security checkpoints, filling the chipper and boiler, cutting and weighing kiln dry samples, updating kiln weights in the computer, trash removal, and general maintenance tasks. This is an entry level position — no experience necessary. We will train the right candidate. Candidates must have a work history demonstrating responsibility and work ethic. Compensation package includes competitive hourly wage, life and health insurance, generous 401k match, vacation and holiday pay, and bonuses based on company profitability.
