Full Job Description Description:
Stationary Engineer Lexington, KY Pay:
$36.00-$40.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Location:
Lexington, KY Keep Critical Facility Systems Running If you have experience operating boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and central utility equipment, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work in a stable, first-shift position. You'll play a key role in keeping essential building systems operating safely, efficiently, and reliably every day. A Day in the Life Operate and monitor boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, pumps, generators, and central utility equipment Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) and respond to alarms or system issues Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment reliability Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime Maintain water treatment systems and monitor water chemistry Respond to equipment failures and emergency service calls Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using a CMMS Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Requirements:
What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience operating boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, or central utility equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience using Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS preferred Ability to read mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and equipment schematics Kentucky Stationary Engineer License or Boiler Operator Certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or other mission-critical facilities is a plus Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement Benefits That Support Your Future At MMS, we believe in investing in our employees and supporting both your personal and professional growth.
