Check out our link to our awesome benefits - Johns Hopkins Benefits Enrollment Your benefits virtually (mybenefitsjhhs.com) As Stationary Engineer, you will: Operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as central plant refrigeration, steam boilers, air condition systems, equipment and allied facilities.
Shift:
Ideal candidate must be available to work varied shifts, including weekend work. SHIFT Full-time, 40 hours per week Rotating Shift Weekend Work Required
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
High school diploma or trade school equivalent
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
First Class Engineer's license Candidate must have completed an accredited trade school course of study or a trade apprenticeship program in electrical wiring and the applications of electricity and electrical equipment
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
1 years' experience in preventive maintenance preferred; experience in a hospital a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings. Requires good communication skills. Must have a good working knowledge of HVAC systems. Knowledge of English required. Requires math, reading, adaptability, logic, driving, and typing/word processing. Requires ability to operate specialized equipment: i.e., boiler, chiller, handtools.
Salary Range:
Minimum 32.14 per hour - Maximum 53.03 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
