Job Description

Fluor is a world-class maintenance, engineering, and construction organization that provides on-site plant maintenance and operations support at numerous industrial manufacturing facilities across the US. As the Boiler and Utility Plant Operator , responsible for safely operating, inspecting, and performing preventive maintenance and repairs to the Central Utility Plant. The regular work schedule is 2:00 PM to 12 Midnight (8 days on, 6 days off).
Salary :
$26.00 - $34.00/hour DOE Benefits

  • Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, air compressors, and other utility plant equipment
  • Perform inspections, make necessary adjustments, and log results to ensure job specifications are met
  • Install, repair, and maintain piping, fittings, and equipment for various systems: steam turbines, air compressors, and boilers
  • Prepare boilers and related equipment for state and insurance inspections
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in the plant Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • MN State Engineer's License Second Class "A or B" or obtain a First Class "B" license within 24 months of date of hire Qualifications
  • Utility Plant operations experience
  • Experience monitoring Automated Process Control System (HMI/SCADA)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able and comfortable in tight spaces
