Job Description

Boiler Operator Koppers Inc. United States, North Carolina, Leland 1901 Wood Treatment Road Northeast (Show on map) Jun 26, 2026 Job Responsibilities Oversee boiler operations including gauge checking system to prevent malfunctions
Conduct regular testing of pressure, chemical and water levels to ensure safe operation
Identify and fix issues promptly to ensure smooth production processes
Operate kiln to dry poles according to company specification
Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment
Operation of loader as needed
Works cooperatively with management and co-workers to achieve all safety, quality and production goals set for the work environment.
Other work-related duties as required Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements Knowledge of boiler systems and mechanical components
Ability to monitor and read gages
Basic computer knowledge including applications
Strong problem-solving skills
Able to work in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Willing to be hands on with physical production
Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions (wet, hot, cold)
