Position Summary:
The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of boiler systems and associated equipment. This role involves ensuring that boilers are functioning optimally, performing routine inspections, and conducting repairs as needed. The Boiler Operator will maintain accurate records of operations, manage fuel supply, and comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential to ensure reliable and efficient boiler operations.
Work Hours:
7.30 am - 4.30 pm, Monday through Friday; occasional time may be required
Pay Range:
$40+ per hour, depending on experience

Required Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. 5+ years of experience operating and maintaining boiler systems experience. Boiler Operator's certification is a plus. Knowledge of boiler systems, controls, mechanical equipment, and steam systems. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic proficiency in computer applications for monitoring and reporting. Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in varying temperatures or environments.
