Furnace Operator

Job Title:

Furnace Operator  Job Description As a Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating high temperature vacuum furnaces, ensuring the accurate loading and unloading of the equipment. You will utilize analog and digital gauges, digital controllers, and PC HMI systems to meticulously record various parameters including temperature, current, voltage, flow, pH, level, pressure, and partial pressure of liquids and gases. Additionally, you will handle the packaging of the final product and conduct routine maintenance on the furnace. Responsibilities Operate high temperature vacuum furnace. Load and unload the furnace efficiently. Utilize analog and digital gauges, digital controllers, and PC HMI for accurate record-keeping. Record temperature, current, voltage, flow, pH, level, pressure, and partial pressure of liquid and gas. Package the final product. Conduct routine maintenance on the furnace. Clean chambers, exhaust piping, and stacks. Change pump oil as required. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation and maintenance. Proficiency in operating valves and conducting valve repairs. Experience working in high temperature areas. Knowledge of CNC operations. Ability to use HMI systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in CNC operations. Proficiency in furnace operating. Comfortable working in high temperature environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment offers openings on two shifts: 1st Shift from 7am-3:30pm and 2nd Shift from 3pm-11:30pm, Monday through Friday. The hourly rate ranges from $18-22 with a 10% shift differential. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $48048.00/yr.
