In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial ovens to ensure the consistent baking and cooking of high-quality food products. Your expertise will help maintain efficient production lines, uphold strict food safety standards, and contribute to delivering delicious, safe products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your culinary skills and mechanical knowledge will shine. Responsibilities Operate and monitor industrial ovens to ensure proper cooking times, temperatures, and product quality. Prepare food items for baking or cooking by following established recipes and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the oven area in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and perform basic troubleshooting or report repairs as needed. Follow strict food safety protocols during food handling, processing, and preparation activities. Assist in food production processes, including loading/unloading products and ensuring proper storage conditions. Use forklift or other machinery safely when moving ingredients or finished goods within the facility. Skills Proven experience in cooking, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant, bakery, or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations such as HACCP and CGMP standards. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand basic oven operations and troubleshoot equipment issues. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, temperatures, and ingredient quantities. Prior experience in food industry manufacturing or kitchen environments is highly desirable. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
