ASAP Relocation assistance available• Sponsorship not available Stamping Engineer (Progressive Stamping Die exp req) Description Our client in the metal manufacturing industry is looking for a Stamping Engineer to add to their team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Reporting to the Plant General Manager, this hands-on role oversees the continual development and improvement of progressive stamping dies and related equipment. Ideal candidates will have worked with tooling and servo press equipment and have direct experience troubleshooting equipment and processes. This role is suitable for an experienced or rising peer leader who wants to train production operators on proper processes and adjustments. If you are detail-oriented, analytical, a strong communicator, and operate with a sense of urgency while remaining easygoing, this could be a great fit. Stamping Engineer (Progressive Stamping Die exp req) Responsibilities Develop and manage stamping die assessment and maintenance process Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient stamping equipment and operations Maintain inventory of critical spare and replacement parts Partner with Toolmaker to build new and repair existing dies Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process performance issues Support servo press programming and continuous process improvements Train press operators on equipment adjustments and troubleshooting awareness Assist in designing and building functional gages for quality verification Collaborate with production and tooling teams to improve operational performance Perform additional duties as assigned by management Stamping Engineer (Progressive Stamping Die exp req) Qualifications 3+ years progressive stamping die experience required Experience with servo press and tool building equipment required Proficiency in 3D modeling software required Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required Advanced communication skills and strong attention to detail required •A bit about
