Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker/Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures essential for production processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge and expertise in machining techniques, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. . The Ideal candidate will Design, Build and Repair shop tooling and fabricated fixtures. Will also assists in the training of production workers and may lead and direct others Responsibilities Design build and repair: Shop Tooling, Fabricated Fixtures, Test tooling and Fixtures, Utilize Blueprints and Design Sketches Familiarity with variety of Field Concepts, Practices and Procedures Thorough knowledge of the strengths and properties of materials used Knowledge and Judgment to plan and accomplish goals in an efficient manner Assist in training production workers in the safe and proper operation of shop tooling and fixtures Fabricate tooling parts through various methods such as welding, electrical discharge machining (EDM), stamping press operations, and plastics injection molding. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions. Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, schematics, and inspection reports for quality control purposes. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement improvements for increased productivity. Other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects and meet specific goals and deadlines Ability to make sound and timely decisions Must be organized and detail oriented Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Education/Relevant Experience/ Skills Minimum 2 - 3 years of related experience Experience in sheet-metal and/or HVAC Industry a Huge Plus Requires a demonstrated knowledge in areas of basic electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics Experience in designing and building tooling and fabricated metal devices Must possess verifiable experience in problem solving, project planning and implementation Compensation Compensation starts at $26.50- $31.50 per hour.
