In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately fitting and adjusting compression garments to support patient recovery and improve quality of life. Your expertise will ensure patients receive the highest standard of care through precise measurements, proper application, and compassionate service. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes while working within a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine patient needs and garment specifications Measure patients accurately, considering physiology and anatomy knowledge to ensure optimal fit Educate patients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of compression garments Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure garments meet prescribed medical requirements Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, concerns, and comfort during fittings Maintain detailed records of fittings, measurements, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare standards Skills Strong understanding of physiology and human anatomy relevant to compression therapy Proficiency in medical terminology related to patient care and garment fitting procedures Experience with intake procedures and ICD coding for accurate documentation Knowledge of aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards Excellent patient service skills with compassionate communication abilities Ability to interpret medical prescriptions and adapt fittings accordingly Familiarity with basic physiology concepts that influence garment selection and fit Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Join our team and help improve patient recovery journeys through expert fitting, compassionate care, and precise technical skills.
