Workday hours are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday - (4 ten-hour days). We offer competitive health benefits, 401K, paid holidays and paid personal time.
Position Requirements:
Set tools & build toolholder assemblies as needed for the CNC mill dept. per setup docs utilizing a Zoller Venturion 450 Tool Presetter & Elco Heat Shrink machine Inspect tools for accuracy & runout & establish precision tool length offsets for each tool assy. Maintain inventory of tools & fixtures Issue tools and equipment to machinists and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned Inspect returned tools & fixtures for excessive wear & missing hardware Create & maintain job specific tooling boxes as needed Sharpen carbide & cobalt drills using an Optima drill grinder Create, update, & maintain tooling set-up documentation Purchase tooling
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma or GED Time management skills Computer skills & experience with Microsoft Word & Excel Ability to accurately use precision measuring instruments Experience with tool presetters, heat shrink machines & drill grinders Must have acute attention to detail Work well with others in a team environment Ability to read/write & communicate well with others Knowledge of general CNC machining practices Experience with set-up & operation of CNC mills preferred Understanding of basic endmill, drill, & turning & milling insert geometries, & naming conventions Understanding of milling & turning toolholders, collet systems, fixture components, etc.
