- Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Die Maker to produce steel rule cutting dies for corrugated packaging. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to read technical layouts, and experience with die-making tools and equipment.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Build rotary and flat steel rule cutting dies to specification + Read job tickets, CAD layouts, and technical drawings + Measure and verify components using precision tools + Operate die-making and laser cutting equipment + Install steel rule, rubbering, and finishing materials + Inspect finished dies for accuracy and quality + Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety standards + Troubleshoot and adjust dies as needed •Requirements•+ High school diploma or equivalent + Minimum 2 years steel rule die making experience (required) + Ability to read tape measure and technical layouts + Basic math skills (fractions/measurements) + Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship + Ability to work independently and in a team •Physical Requirements•+ Stand up to 8 hours per shift + Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally + Use hands for detailed, precision work + Work in a manufacturing environment with machinery and noise •Benefits•+ Medical, Dental, Vision + Life Insurance + 401(k) + company match + Paid Time OffLSI Staffing is An Equal Opportunity Employer.
