Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team on a 15-20 hour weekly contracting basis with full time opportunity . This role involves assembling modules for our final product. The ideal candidate is able to read and follow schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Wet lab experiences are desirable. Familiarity with Flow Cytometry is a big plus. Duties Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for assembly and fabrication tasks. Use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools. Perform machining operations including drilling, cutting, and shaping materials as required for project specifications. Use welding and soldering techniques to repair or fabricate parts according to engineering standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management and material handling. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements. Skills Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams. Proficiency with mechanical tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery. Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, machining, welding, soldering, and fabrication. Mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with inventory management is a plus. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and assembly work. This Technician role is vital for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency within our manufacturing environment.
