In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, and maintaining precision tooling used in metal stamping manufacturing processes, Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality tools that meet strict specifications and safety standards. Your precision, mechanical knowledge, and problem-solving skills will drive efficiency and excellence across our operations. Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and modify tooling components using hand tools, welding techniques, and fabrication equipment. Conduct precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to maintain tight tolerances on all machined parts. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and optimize manufacturing processes involving plastics injection molding and stamping presses. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all fabrication and machining activities to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Tool Die Maker or Machinist with a strong background in manufacturing environments. Skilled in CNC programming for CNC lathe and CNC milling machines; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints accurately. Mechanical aptitude complemented by strong math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances. Experience operating precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other gauges.
